Human Fortress talk about new album “Raided Land”

Hannover based German rockers Human Fortress have been speaking of their great admiration for everyone that has given new album “Raided Land”, released here on December 2nd, such wonderful reviews in the press. With interviews still to be published in Fireworks Magazine, and recently published in Powerplay, the band is overjoyed with the reaction, and really looking forward to taking this new album to the stage in 2014.
Says singer Gus Monsanto, “I’m so happy with how the album turned out, and I can’t wait to play these songs live on stage in 2014. That is where Human Fortress belongs for me. It was very difficult to find a band with this kind of style where I am, in Brazil, but these guys had such a positive vision of where they wanted to go with the record, and now it’s out, it’s wonderful to see the good reactions.”
And guitarist Todd Wolf adds, “It was really important for us all to continue with the style of music Human Fortress had been known for around the time of the first 2 albums, and the reactions really vindicate that. Of course, there was going to be new flavours to the material, as we now have Gus on board, as well as two new members. But, it was vital that we got back the trade mark sound Human Fortress was known for and we’re really very proud of the results. It’s given us the perfect platform to push on now.”
The video clip for the song “Wasted Years” is still at this location;
